Dear Parents,

On behalf of the governors and staff, I would like to welcome you to our school. Starting school is a significant milestone in a child's life. At St. George's, we provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment for all the children, so that each may achieve, with your valued support, his/her potential. We hope that every child is able to feel that they are part of a community and that he/she may learn to uphold the values of Christianity.

In addition to providing a broad and balanced academic curriculum, we promote high standards of behaviour and encourage the children as they progress through the school, to be both independent and responsible. We also have a range of out of school activities and many links with St George's Church and its organisations.

We therefore provide a well-rounded education, delivered by a dedicated staff and we can assure you that every effort is made to allow each child to achieve the highest possible standards.

We welcome parents on both a formal and informal basis and will be available to discuss your child's progress at any mutually convenient time.
