Useful Information & Links for Parents

Opening Times

The school is open from 8.30am to 4pm daily.

For individual class timings please speak to the class teacher or the office directly.

Late/Absence Procedures

If your child is not able to come to school due to illness or any other reason please call school, before 8:45 if possible, and leave a message with your child's name, class and the reason for absence.

If you have pre-ordered a school dinner for your child please cancel it before 9am as Taylor Shaw are now charging school for meals not taken in an effort to cut down on food waste.

School Uniform

Uniform does not have to have the school logo embroidered on it, but this is available from www.myclothing.com

Parent Open Sessions - Thumbs Up Thursday

We hold a parent open morning or afternoon 6 times a year for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 families. These are called Thumbs Up Thursday's.  All the sessions are designed to provide parents and carers with a wonderful opportunity to come and work alongside their child and get a real insight into their learning.

At the end of each session we ask families for feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve and appreciate a parents' perspective.  Below you can read the feedback that we have received which is extremely positive.  If there is anything the school needs to respond to, a comment has been added.

School Clubs

We offer a range of exciting activities at our school.  Clubs change each term.  A letter is sent out at the start of each term inviting children to sign up.

School Meals

Free School Meals

All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal under the Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme.

If you are entitled to Free School Meals due to financial circumstances it is important that you apply for them on the Stockport MBC website, even if your child is in Infants or has packed lunches, as school will then receive 'Pupil Premium' funding.  Please see link below for more information.

If you are a parent or carer,

we hope you will find the web links below useful.
