Following the recent government recommendations the following additional procedures have been put in place to protect our community. We would ask parents and carers to keep a sensible distance when gathering in the playgrounds and have updated our arrival and collection times.
The most recent guidance is that anyone with a high temperature or a cough should self-isolate for at least 14 days. If your child is unwell please keep them away from school for this period of time as a minimum.
Should school closure be necessary, home school learning will be implemented through Class Dojo. Many parents still need to sign up to our Class Dojos – please speak to your class teacher if you need log on details.
The Department for Education coronavirus helpline is available to answer questions about COVID-19 relating to education and children’s social care. Staff, parents and young people can contact this helpline as follows:
Phone: 0800 046 8687 Opening hours: 8am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)
We are receiving a high number of calls to the office. Please refrain from calling with non-essential queries so we can keep the lines free for emergencies.
If we need to update you we will do this through letters, the school website, teachers2parents and Class Dojos.
Please ensure the school has your correct telephone and email contact details so we can reach you.
In the event of any concerns we will always contact, and act on the advice of, the Local Authority and Public Health England.
